What is the purpose of our church? Are we a church that makes obedience to the Great Commission our PRIMARY goal that pervades everything we do? Perhaps God is calling us to be a church that cares more for people who have not yet come to know Christ than for ourselves.
God calls us to be a church that seeks to share Jesus and serve those in need in every way possible. We seek outreach opportunities that build relationships and bless people, body and soul. We humbly seek to spread the good news of Jesus Christ to those who have not yet come to know Him through connecting to a Christian community like our church. We will reach out to those who are guests at our church and encourage them to join in what God is doing in us and through us.
Sharing Jesus is our purpose. You'll find that our church is focused on just that. And you'll find that we offer many opportunities for you to get on board with sharing Jesus, too. We participate in many area outreach & evangelism events, such as the Community Easter Egg Hunt at Southdown Park, concerts in the park at Westside Events Center, Christmas Caroling at Pearland Town Center, Kairos Prison Ministry, etc. We also believe it is the calling of ALL believers to individually share their faith with people they know who are not followers of Christ. We train and encourage those in our faith community to know their neighbors, co-workers, and family members well and invite them to join us. Or just to begin by asking one simple questions, "How can I ask God to bless you today?" Prayer is always the first step!
