As part of the worldwide Church of Jesus Christ, we believe in working with our brothers and sisters in other denominations, and with people of other faiths for the common good.  Our pastor is the Vice President of the Pearland Ministerial Association.  We are active members in the Chamber of Commerce.  We work with other churches in the Pearland area to assist ministries like the Christian Helping Hands and the Brazoria County Women's Shelter and the Forgotten Angels.  Every year we participate in the Souper Bowl of Caring with churches all over the United States to collect food and funds for those in need.  Several of our members are sponsors for children all over the world through Compassion International.  At our recent Vacation Bible School we collected School supplies for children in our area.  We have participated in Compassion Projects working with volunteers from other churches to fix up local elementary schools before the start of the school year.
