The Worship Team is responsible for everything that goes on in worship, the music, the video and sound projection, greeters and ushers, preparing the elements for communion, printing and folding bulletins, special offerings, choirs, drama, banners, flowers and occasional concerts and special services of worship and even occasional Hymn Sings throughout the year.  Cheryl Miller and David Wilson are the elders that lead this team.

9am Blended Service: At this service we will offer to God our time tested "Blended Service" that features both traditional and contemporary music.  Remember, at one time "A Mighty Fortress" was a contemporary hymn! The instrumentation for our praise varies from traditional hymns accompanied by keyboard to some of the latest contemporary choruses accompanied by guitar, bass, keyboards and led by our Peace Choir.

11:15am Praise Service: At this service we will offer to God a new service of worship we are calling a "Praise Service."  This service is less formal and features some of the latest contemporary music led by our Peace Band.  At this service the prayers, the words to the songs will all be projected on the wall at the front of the sanctuary.

At both services we do hold to an order of service, and are guided through that service by a bulletin that features responsive readings, and prayers of adoration, confession, thanksgiving, petition and intercession.  Participants are invited to fill out a prayer and praise card which is given to the pastor during the service so he can incorporate the requests into his pastoral prayer following the sermon.  Through his presentation of the Word through his sermons, our pastor works diligently to present timeless gospel in a timely fashion.  He also has a special message for the children after which the children are invited to sit with their family and friends.  We provide an activity bag for young children and parents of preschool children can take their children to the nursery if they so choose.

Our Observance of Sacraments
Presbyterians observe two sacraments: baptism and holy communion. A sacrament is defined as "an outward sign of an inward grace." We celebrate these two sacraments because they are the two that Jesus commanded and the two that Jesus experienced.

Baptism
As Presbyterians, we recognize baptisms performed in other Christian churches as valid. If you have been baptized in another Christian church, you do not need to be baptized again to become a Presbyterian. We allow for and encourage infants and children to be baptized as a sign of their inclusion in the family of God. While we are not opposed to baptism by immersion and it allowed for in our Book of Order, the most common method of baptism in the Presbyterian Church is by sprinkling.

Holy Communion
Presbyterians practice "open communion" in accordance with our belief that all who have been baptized and trust in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior are welcome to his table. One need not be a Presbyterian to partake of the elements offered in Holy Communion. We observe the sacrament of holy communion on the first Sunday of every month, on the Thursday before celebrating Christ's Resurrection, and on Christmas Eve.
